Late last night in the back of the taxi. Everyone still celebrating. I bailed on party. I heard I ringing a unfamiliar tone. The seat vibrating the driver still didn't know. That next to me sat someones brand new phone. I got inside placing it on the table, I recalled words of childhood fables. As it rang again this time, seemed the volume increased. I place thumb to screen and ears to lips. Hello hello on the other side. Spoke a relieved yet desperate voice through the satellite. I tried to keep cool but due to intoxication I started chanting a verse of triumph and boastation.

Holding still on the line the voice irate asked whats your name, don't play this game. I replied, you first and she firmly introduced, she sounded, young, bright my imagination ran lose, I could have been nice guy, a gentleman of sorts not messed around with a unhumorless joke, been more helpful, accommodating, a real man to the core, But I still couldn't help but wined her up some more, I repeat my song this time whilst rolling around the floor.

Pulling my self together out of a fit of laughs, I came to, only to find the line hung up. Feeling the guilt now and open for solution I belled the number back and I man answered the motion, Can I speak to miss! and he passed her over, I was suddenly calm, to point, articulate and noble. Suggesting we parttake in midnight date. "at least to get your phone, have a drink and relate. Debrief the situation, you can make up your mind if we stay till late. A pone agreeing with the terms she must have had to add, that your as mad as the cat that lived in his hat. You don't know the half of it love, sometimes I talk with a lisp and make small structures out of shopping lists. I also like to do..... and my hobbies i shared.. and we felt the common ground and spent another 10 mins chating like old pals once lost cause they rowled. Out the corners of my eyes, I saw her through the glass of this late night dive, I was waiting by the window in plain sight trying to hide, but Just one look and It was like, the world had been existing only in her essence which seem to have many sides. An angel of sorts, surely not the spawn of darkness and evil. If this was a movie then there could never be a squeal. Entering the joint, all heads turned, amazed at her grace and stunning strut, with eyes that could suggest a thousand differentiation's to this plot. Stunned by beauty and by this point sobering up. I blabber out i'm sorry about being cunt, smiling calmly she ordered us drinks, I past the apps and instinctively winked. Toast to the rightful owner and she began to laugh out loud and mimic the tune now makes her glad!
